Climate / Geography
The geographical district of Kaʻu on the Big Island of Hawaii spans the south side of the island from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the East to Ka Lae (South Point) on the west, including the active volcanos Kīlauea and Mauna Loa.

Rusty’s Farm owned and operated by Lorie Obra is one of Ka’u’s most famous and celebrated farms. Lorie took over the farm from her husband when he passed away. She made Rusty Obra’s dream a reality by converting the coffee farm into a speciality coffee growing artisan coffee estate, using traditional methods of coffee producing.
